Keira appeared in a red flash of light on top of Golden Gate Bridge. She had just told her mother she hated her....what had gotten into her? Well...the fact she had two sisters and a brother from the future she didn't know of did. She didn't mention what had hurt the most to her mom though....the fact it had been with Cole.
Keira hated Cole at the moment. Why did he have to come back into her mom's life? Her mother seemed to adjust to it so easily, as if Keira's dad had never existed. She sat down on the edge of the Bridge and looked down at the cars below her.
The sun was just setting, which was beautiful but her mind was too disturbed to really notice it. The warm breeze lifted her dark brown hair slightly as she put her head in her hands. Her mom's hair. She had her mother's hair and eyes, and like her mom she had went blonde once. When she was a baby, and a little girl she used to look exactly as her mom did at that age.
Thoughts of Phoebe didn't make her feel any better, People said she was just like her mom in personality, except she had never went through the gothic stage. Her mom wouldn't never done what she did. She wasn't sure if she hated herself more for saying she hated her mom, or her mom for making her say it.

Although Derek had not actually been in the conversation himself, it wasn't hard to hear Keira's yelling through a single plaster wall. He couldn't stand his sister being upset like that, but it also really hurt him over what she was saying. She was mad at her mom for getting back together with Cole. But if she hadn't, he wouldn't be there right now. So what she was saying kind of cut him deep.
Once she heart blinked out, Derek just had to follow her, he had to get in his two cents. Shimmering to the top of the Golden Gate Bridge, he let out his infamous sigh that always got him what he wanted his with his parents. Sitting down next to Keira, he turned a sorrowful face towards her. "You really hate my dad that much?" He asked, his expression not changing. Sure, he didn't necessarily get along with his father that much either, but he certainly didn't hate him; he couldn't.
It was wierd now, being older than Keira, since she had been his older sister his entire life. But he had to work that out. He could always tell that there was a little tension between her and his father, but it never seemed to amount to anything. He apparently just wasn't alive at the point when she hated him so much. But at least he knew that she got over it to some degree at least. Maybe he could change that fact, and make her possibly even like him.

Keira could sense another presence. She wasn't a whitelighter, and did not have sensing, but since her Telepathy had actually started working she could do little things like that, as well as read their thoughts. She didn't even need to look up to see who it was...she could already tell. Worse of all she had found out when she heard Derek and Natalie talking. No one had even told her! They all knew she'd be upset, as she blamed Cole for a lot of things lately, yet they had not even bothered to let her find out gently...no, she had to find out the worse way possible.
"My present self does." Her voice sounded a bit muffled as she still had her head in her hands, but could clearly be heard. She didn't know it then, but in the future she had learned to like Cole...however, her present self hated him. "Why shouldn't I? All he has ever done had just made my already horrible life worse."

As Derek kept his gaze shooting towards Keira, he let out another sigh, slowly dropping it to the ground. Well apparently she really did feel that way about Cole. He had thought that at least when he confronted her about him directly, then she would say that she didn't completely hate him, but apparently he was wrong. He had always liked his big sister, but he didn't know that she had gone through a time of such intense hate towards his father.
"I get that he may not be the greatest guy in the world," he said, bringing his gaze back up to her. "But he makes mom happy. He loves her. And she wouldn't love someone truly evil, she has been through that stage, and it would never happen again. Cole isn't evil. He saved her," he said, smiling a tiny bit. It was true, when not around his parents he usually called him Cole instead of dad because of all the evil he had done in his many lives, it kind of made Derek disappointed in him. But their mom had been in such a slump that who knew if she would ever come out of it, but then Cole came along. Obviously she wasn't happy about it at first because he had been evil, but she finally got used to the fact of him being back, and became her normal self again, even having three more children.

"Stop that!" she snapped, as he sighed again. The future Keira would've never talked so harshly to Derek...even the present Keira would not, but right now she was in no mood for dealing with anyone's feelings but her own. Well he can go make someone else's mom happy. She would not have been able to say that out loud...she did not accept Cole but saying it in front of Derek...
"Well she has never done this to me before...." Her voice quavered slightly. "I was upset she didn't tell me about you and Natalie, before dad left, and before Lilly died she would have cared, and apologised, but instead she defended it. I'm her first child," Keira's voice got steadier now." ...I think she should have remembered to mention it but no...she had trouble keeping up with who knew and who didn't."

Natalie shimmered in to hear Derek and Keira's words. She hadn't heard the whole conversation but from what she had heard she got the general idea about what the conversation was about and it was one that she didn't want to get involved with. Natalie was the baby of the family, and she didn't know the whole story of her father's past she had never asked.... why should she have? He wasn't evil now and he wasn't evil in this time. Cole hadn't done anything but be there for their mother and his children. He was also there for Keira and Felicity in the future too. She wasn't disappointed in her father, it didn't matter to her what he had done, he was still her father. It hurt Natalie to hear her oldest sister talking like that.... to how she knew Keira in the future to how she was now.... she couldn't see how Keira was going to end up liking her father like she did her her time. Well she had accepted him at least.
She stayed quiet, not knowing what to say.... Well what could she say? To Nat, her father was the greatest guy in the world... regardless of his past.

Keira sensed another presence, and knew that it was Natalie, and that she did not want to talk about it. Keira knew why. She was probably a lot nicer in the future than she was being at the moment, but she just wasn't in the best of moods, and with good reason too. She finally raised her head. "Hey Natalie," she said, even though she couldn't see her. It was quite freaky actually that she could know who it was without seeing them now, as long as they were nearby.

"Okay that's freaky when you do that." Natalie said going over to them. She didn't like how her sister could sense people and know who it was before she even saw them, though it was good when it came to some demons shimmering in on them unexpectedly. She glanced between her brother and sister, this was one thing she was going to let her brother handle.... She would say something if she needed to but right now she didn't know what to say.

Derek was about to respond to Keira when he noticed Natalie out of the corner of his eye. Keira hadn't noticed her yet because her head was down, but he knew that she would have sensed her, she was always able to. It did get rather annoying at times, her always being able to tell when you were there. You couldn't sneak up on her without casting a charm over yourself.
He chose not to say anything right away, but when the silence pressed on, he couldn't hold back any longer. He stepped closer to her, and squatted down, looking directly at her face. "Keira. You have to understand why mom did this though," he said, keeping a completely straight and sincere face. "Do you know how hard this had to be for her? She hasn't really even told anyone about Cole in this time. And now this springs up on her. I agree that she should have told you. But you have to understand why she didn't."

"Understand why she didn't tell me that she was about to change my life forever too? Why she waited a good few days before she told be about you guys? Why she didn't even tell me shew was pregnant?" Keira didn't like that her her mother had hid that many things from her. "Why should I understand that?"

Natalie looked at her big sister. she didn't need their mother's empathy to know how she felt. "We gave Mum a huge shock when she found out about us..... Needs more than a few days to get her own head around it." She said folding her arms. Natalie knew she had screwed up big time when she cast that spell and ended up in this time... well at the time she didn't know that her mother had cast a spell and the two spells collided and well they ended up here. "And Dad's not exactly popular with Aunt Piper and Aunt Paige in this time." Actually Aunt Paige hated Cole and Aunt Piper was pretty close to hating Cole so... "Got to try and put yourself in her place."

Keira sighed. Natalie didn't understand. She was only telling Keira aspect of her mom's personality, and Keira knew here mom well enough. "Are you just trying to tell me she thinks about herself before her daughters? Because if you do convince me of that, that's not much better," she pointed out.

"No, I was just saying that...." she glanced at Derek for some help. "I'm going to shut up now," she wasn't good at talking to her older sister when she was like this.

Derek figured that he would just let Keira and Natalie battle it out for a little bit. He knew that Natalie never fared all too well when she was argueing, but he wasn't going to interupt. She needed to get her two cents worth in as well. But when she shot the look at him, Derek immediately stepped back over to Keira. He understood that Natalie needed a break, and so it was his turn to try again. And he would do his best to try and help Keira through this, but so far it didn't look too good.
"Keira, what are you talking about?" He asked, sighing. He didn't know how Keira could talk about their mother like this. "You know how much she loves all of us. But sometimes she just needs a little reaction time of her own. She hadn't even gotten use to the concept of us yet. How could she even stand to tell someone else and have to deal with their reaction to it too. She knew that you guys didn't like Cole. She knew how hard everyone would take this, and she couldn't take the pressure of being the one to have to break it everyone just yet. Can't you understand that?" Derek tried to be as nice as possible throughout this, but it was honestly starting to get to him how Keira was reacting to this whole situation.

Keira almost smiled at their thoughts. Almost. She felt as if they were trying in vain to win, despite it not being a win or lose situation. It was simply them trying to talk her into forgiving their mother, but now was probably not the best time. She was still fired up about it all. If she had been in her senses she probably would have been a lot more understanding and realised what they were saying what the truth. The damage was done though and she couldn't reverse it. Well she could. She had a cupid ring now but that would be personal gain.
"Well if she hadn't gotten together with Cole in the first place, which I hardly need to point out proves she only thinks about herself these days-" she hesitated before finishing the rest of the sentence as it hit her who she was talking to two of the people she was about to refer to. "Then there wouldn't be any problems would they? They're the Charmed Ones, innocents could die, die because she needs to 'recover'," Keira retorted her voice angering at the end.
