Derek's plan seemed to be working extremely well. Although when he had first reformed, even from the back it seemed as if something was slightly different with Isabella. She seemed almost sad. But Derek was still feeling the adrenaline of the battle and his mouth moved faster than his brain and he had just spoken first. But the reaction he got from her was everything that he wanted and much more. She screamed, perfect, then turned invisible, a bit unnerving since he couldn't tell where she was now, but she didn't seem to be trying to hide it from him at this point in time.
As she began yelling at him, the smirk playing his lips grew even larger. "Oh... did I scare the big bad demon?" He asked, in a play pouty little voice. But after he said it his mind began wandering back to what he had seen when he first reformed. He had known since the beginning that Isabella wasn't like all the other demons. She could feel, but she certainly did have the temper of a demon. Putting that aside though, she felt bad when she thought that she had killed Derek, and he could tell. Although he didn't outwardly show it, a part of him wanting to kill her sort of dissolved at that moment because he had witnessed her feeling bad that she had killed him. [/color]
