"But uncle Leo destroyed that Mirror for a reason Kaelyn!" Keira burst out, before she could stop herself. So it was probably useful but how could Kaelyn take the mirror? It was dangerous! Only their mom and aunts would know not to take advantage of it or that would be major personal gain, wouldn't it? She managed to refrain from rolling her eyes when Kaelyn thought she would just have to bite her tongue and accept it. It wasn't Keira's fault that Kaelyn would never be comfortable about it. Why can't she just be more supportive?

"And this is the reason why you should keep my thoughts to yourself." But they were her thoughts for a reason because she didn't want to say them out loud.... Her thoughts was how she dealed with her issues. She was trying to be supportive she really were but she couldn't help it if she wasn't comfortable with someone always knowing what she was thinking. "And i didn't take it on purpose, I just find it when I was unpacking and I haven't got round to putting it back yet...." She wasn't even sure if she was going to give it back, Wasn't like it was hurting anyone.

"Well I'm sorry but there's no way around it," she said crisply. She had actually went down in the Underworld (Not that anyone knew) and after some poking around discovered that unlike with empathy there was no potion to take to block your thoughts from a Telepathic person. "Only a spell so you could read people's thoughts too and that's personal gain, plus I doubt you'd like it." At first it had given Keira a major, constant headache as the power grew so she would hear more than just the people around her. She could tell you what everyone in their building, and the places around that were thinking at the moment if you wanted to know.
"It's not yours...it's my moms and aunt Piper's," she told her, trying to get away from the topic of Telepathy. If they kept up like this their friendship would been dented until they resolved it and that wouldn't happen until Kaelyn stopped complaining because Keira could hear her thoughts even if Kaelyn didn't say it out loud.

"Well look at it as I'm borrowing it." She said simply. "They are going though the same things as us. And I can talk to well me... better than what I can to anyone else." Even though Kaelyn liked to help everyone else she needed someone to listen to her once in a while, She needed to be heard and no one seemed to have time to listen to her. So Kaelyn bottled it all up. She picked a bobble up from the side table and screwed her hair up in a pony tail.

"That you is evil," she pointed out as Kaelyn pulled her hair into a ponytail. She thought back to the borrowing thing. "But you're not borrowing," she said, trying to get Kaelyn to see logic. "That's a really dangerous thing to do." But Keira had a feeling what the temptation must be like. She had never seen her evil self and it would be interesting to know what her evil self was like. But it was wrong. She wasn't supposed to see her evil self.
"What if something happens? You can set the whole world off balance." Sometimes magical beings could forget that things didn't only have an effect on them but on those around them, sometimes the whole world.

"Yea but she listens, She's confident and really smart and.... everything that I'm not." So Kaelyn was smart, her evil self just seemed to have a lot more confidence. "And I listen to... well me." She sighed. "Would only throw the balance if I went into the bad world or if evil me came into this world which neither of us can because with the mirror we can only see into each others worlds." Kaelyn had no intention of even trying to get into the bad world.

"So you need to learn to deal with issues without turning to magic!" Using magical means to solve problems, or for help all the time was wrong. Kaelyn knew that. Paige, Piper and Phoebe had been telling them that since they were old enough to understand what it meant so it had always stuck with Keira. That was why it was pretty hard to turn her evil, although it was done, mostly by magical means.
She sighed when Kaelyn said that it wasn't as if they were going into eachother's worlds. "I know that but that doesn't mean that something else can't happen. That's how our moms set it off balance, doesn't mean it's the only way to set it off balance," she replied, folding her arms.

"Well if people listened when I talk then maybe I wouldn't have to resort to magic." She were always there for everyone when they needed her, whether it was some advice, someone just to talk to, or just a shoulder to cry on. But when ever Kaelyn just needed someone to talk to or even just listen no one seemed to be interested. "Don't look at me like that!"

Keira could read Kaelyn's thoughts and realised she just felt alone, like no one was ever there for her. She hadn't realised the look she was giving Kaelyn until she told her not to, and changed her features to a softer look. "Kae, there's a lot of people there for you if you just let them be," she told her. So her mom and Kaelyn's mom was always taken up with other things recently but they couldn't help that.
"Aunt Piper...she's there for everyone my mom and your mom are supposed to be lately," she voiced her thoughts out loud. Phoebe was taken up with her pregnant baby, as she had to keep her stress level down, and trying to help Rachelle while her aunt Paige...well who knew what kept her away from the family.

"It's not fair on Aunt Piper to always have to be the strong one, and the one that has to be there for everyone." She said as she twisted some of her hair round her finger that had fallen down out of her ponytail. "Aunt Phoebe is usually the one I talk to...."

Keira raised an eyebrow. "Nice...she has time for her niece but not her daughter, I wonder how that works out," she said. "I don't talk to aunt Piper or aunt Paige in particular." Keira didn't favor anyone, so she just talked to whoever she was with at the time. Although when Lilly had been alive she had been closer to her than to Felicity, and she was also closer to Kaelyn (and when Linda was alive her too) than any of her cousins. She loved everyone in her family though.
"I know it's not fair but...someone has to do it." Without Piper their family would probably fall apart. Even when she was younger, her mom had told her that her and Prue would've probably killed each other if it hadn't been for Piper holding them together. Ironic, Keira and Felicity fought a lot since Lilly died.

Well it was either Phoebe or Piper that Kaelyn talked to, Her own mother hadn't really been there for her, even before Linda died... Kaelyn would talk to Linda more than her mother, But Linda always knew what was going on in Kaelyn's head and she didn't even have telepathy. Kaelyn didn't really like to bother aunt Piper, she had everyone else to worry about, so she didn't bother her aunt piper that much.
"Piper has enough things to worry about she doesn't need to worry about me too..."

"And weren't you just complaining that no one listens to you, and that's why you refer to magic?" Keira asked with a small smile. "Don't side track....Kaelyn you know you have to give back that mirror," Keira prodded gently. It wasn't safe, or right to use magic to resolve problems. Well it was right for evil, they pretty much used magic for everything as far as she knew.

She sighed, she knew when she was beat and Keira wasn't going to drop it. "Fine, I'll take it back." She said simply. She stood up so it was a slight error in judgement, but everyone did that every now and again. Kaelyn had just been too busy helping everyone else that she didn't have time for herself. When she found that she needed to talk no one seemed to want to listen... or be willing to listen. It was the reason why she resorted to using that mirror in the first place.
She went into her room and pulled a box out of the bottom of her wardrobe, Where she hid the mirror with some of Linda's things that she couldn't leave behind. She knelt down beside it as she looked though the box. She screamed, the mirror wasn't there and she knew for a fact that, that was the place where she had put it.

Keira smiled, satisfied that she had convinced Kaelyn to return it. Her mother had said that, like Prue, she rarely dropped a subject easily if things didn't go the way she liked. The smile disappeared from her face when she heard Kaelyn's scream though. Thinking it was a demon, she shot up from her seat and ran into the room. "What is it?" she asked. She didn't see anything wrong...just Kaelyn kneeling on the floor near her wardrobe with a box in front of her. So that's where she hides her stuff...
