Stupid tree... she thought in annoyance as she put a hand to the spot on her forehead that had hit a low branch of a fruit tree. It all honestly Rachelle loved trees. She wasn't sure why, she just did. It didn't seem like a very demonic habit to like nature but Rachelle seemed to have inherited it from somewhere.
The last time she had come to this forest was because she'd had a stroke of bad luck and came after the leprechauns, killing one of them. Her breathing slowed slightly as she remembered the incident. She had first met Natalie and Derek. Of-course they didn't know each other them. That day she had gotten a flashback (?) of a little girl jumping to touch a P3 sign. She remembered destroying that same P3 sign a few werks ago...
She sat down on the stump of a fallen tree and sighed heavily. She couldn't understand why she had turned her little sister evil. Afraid of Courtney? No way, so why then she had no idea. Sure it would probably be an advantage to her, but something about it bothered her and the slight guilt was continuously present in her mind.

The leaves on the ground crunched under Derek's feet as he walked slowly through the cold forest. Because of the change of season most of the leaves had become crunchy and fallen to the ground, causing it to become very difficult to walk quietly, as with every step you took, there was a loud crunch right underneath you. Another affect of the changing seasons was a strange coldness that people didn't experience too often. Going from the every day heat of summer into the cool, rainy season of fall was a hard transition.
As Derek strode through the forest, he began remembering the things that had happened the last time he had been here. He was with Natalie, and he had met another girl. He didn't actually know who she was, just that she had to be evil. And not actually going back to the manor very often, Derek never actually figured out who that evil woman was. He tried to shake those thoughts out of his head. They were horrible, murdering innocent Leprachauns. He just couldn't understand things like that.
As Derek rounded a large tree in the forest, he saw a figure sitting on a distant stump. Not knowing who it was, he mindlessly started wandering towards that person. And he didn't even think about anything evil, since there was no sneakiness in the way that he was approaching the person. With the crunching of the leaves underneath his feet there was no way that the person didn't hear him coming. But the thought never even crossed his mind that the person he was coming onto may not be friendly.

Rachelle looked at her surroundings. It was cold, she had realised that since the last time she came. She found it colder in the Forest than in San Francisco though. She noticed the ground felt...smooth-ish in some places though. That confused her. She had been pretty sure it was damp. Her confusion vanished as the answer came to her though. She had frozen any sign of water around her. Surprise Surprise.
Hearing crunching, she shot up from where she stood and turned around. She felt suddenly as if she had somehow frozen her insides as well, because it sure as hell felt as if her stomach was full of ice. It was her brother- no, her twin. After meeting Natalie, it was pretty obvious this was Derek. She opened her mouth to say something but closed it again as nothing occurred to her. She took a deep breath and forced herself to regain her cold demeanor. Well, it was there literally with her new power but not in her emotions.
"Hello brother," she said, reminding herself of scenes in shows where a good person would suddenly find himself/herself face to face with an evil member of his or her family. She almost smiled at the thought. It was Roxanne's fault she even knew about that. She wondered, though, if he knew who she was or if he still just thought of her as the evil person who had killed an innocent leprechaun.

As Derek finally got close enough to the figure to make out their features, he squinted his eyes closed, and stopped dead in his tracks. He couldn't believe that he felt so secure about just approaching a random person in the forest where magical creatures dwelled. Evil was everywhere in the magical world, and he knew that, he didn't know why he felt so secure this time. And finding out who it was that he was approaching made him realize just how foolish he was.
But what she said was what surprised him the most. He had still been searching to save his sister this entire time, and he had no idea that he had seen her before. Not only had he seen her before, but he had fought her before. She was evil. She had been turned evil by the people that had kidnapped her. Those bastards were going to pay when he found out who they were. But first he had to turn his sister good again, although he knew that it wouldn't be easy after seeing how evil she seemed at their last meeting.
But at finding out this news, he became enraged. He couldn't believe that his twin sister could be evil. And he knew that deep down, there had to be some good left in her, and he was going to find that. But his mind was clouded now with the fury of her being evil. And as he thought about it more, his eyes darkened, like they did when he felt intense anger. Honestly, it didn't happen very often, but it had been happening more recently than it had before. He always blamed it on his dad because that was his trademark when he was the Source, it was how he was identified, and so he figured that he got it from him. And it only happened when he felt extreme anger and hate, so it fit. He couldn't even think of words to say, so he just continued to glare at her, speechless.

Rachelle watched as he squinted his eyes closed and stopped walking. Well she didn't really blame him for not being more careful. This was a forest filled with Nymphs and fairies and all sorts of good beings, who would expect a demon to be there? Well as far as she knew she was the only demon that even went there. It was too..cherry and happy-looking for most demons, it disgusted them.
Rachelle saw Derek's eyes darken and to be honest it didn't surprise her in the least. Rachelle's eye's had been Natalie's chocolate-like color when she was kidnapped but now it looked so near to black you'd swear it had never been brown in the first place. She knew it had slowly been darkening as she grew older because of the evil growing inside her and the constant anger she felt, the pain and desire for revenge at being given away like an old piece of clothing to the demons. After a while the pain disappeared, and became natural to her. After all, pain didn't hurt when it was all you ever felt.
There was a flicker of emotion in her eyes though, something like hurt except not exactly that, and she didn't even notice it happen but it seemed to change her face and make it look less evil. Just for a few moments but it was effective. Anger was one reaction she hadn't received when her family found out it was her. Everyone had simply tried to persuade her to come back to good. They had felt sad, surprised, calm, something but not angry. "Erm... Aren't you going to say something?" she asked. "Or are you unable to talk?"

Derek was now passed the point of no return. He was angrier than he had been in a long time. But the fact was that it wasn't at Rachelle. He didn't blame her for being evil. He blamed the people that took her. She couldn't help that they poisened her with evil, turning her natural good self into one that doesn't even know what good is. And for a moment, he thought that he almost saw his twin sister in Rachelle's face. And that is why he didn't just blow up.
"What is there to say?" He asked, sighing. "I would say that I am going to vanquish those evil bastards that kidnapped you and turned you evil. But I figured that that would be obvious," he said, his face angling towards the ground while his eyes remained focused on Rachelle. Everything about her seemed different from when she was younger, and he just wished that he would be able to bring back that person, bring back his twin sister.

"Considering those 'evil bastards' is one thing and isn't even human, that's basically impossible," she informed him, as a leaf fell from a nearby tree. It had been damp with the rain water, but now had a thin layer of ice over it. Perfect. Now she'd never be able to sneak up on anyone again- see something freeze suspiciously and you know Rachelle is nearby. Sometimes she hated the extent of her power that she had only recently gotten it and she could already freeze water from a good few feet away.
"So I'd really advise you not do that," she added, re-directing her thoughts to the person in front of her once more. Well, her twin. Seeing the look on his face though, she suspected that like her he was a determined person who somehow got what he wanted once he put his mind to it. "Please," she said, and was caught of guard that there was emotion in her voice. She changed back her voice to the bored tone. "Don't try to find it." Rachelle didn't even know what it was, or what it looked like. She had never seen it- it always had on a cloak with it's hood up, and normally spoke to her through telepathy. All she knew is that it hated anything good, and finding out the Halliwells were a powerful Source of good, weakened them by taking Rachelle. That hadn't been all though. Rachelle knew it could kill a Charmed one if it wanted, well she thought so at least, but it had chosen to take her instead.
