This is a story, one of pain, disillusion, daydreams, nightmares, love and blood....Don't read if you can't handle what's to come....it'll give you shivers beyond belief.
There was once a group of teenagers, each with a unique tail to tell. David, the basketball star, thelead in every play, the school deemed prince, and the first to feel the wrath of what's after them. Alexandria, the bleak, depressed, and princess of darkness. At least until she finds out what real darkness is like. Mariah, the songstress, the emotional, and the first to scream when the shadows come closer. Baily, the strong witted, the chef, the prankster. All that changes when he finds some pranks go too far for funny.
These teens were all different, and all experienced something they wish they never had. David is the Massachusettes native, who's spent his life indulging in sports, musicals, and has been deemed prince of the school. He's every girl's dardream, until a nightmare takes whold. He's the reader of the book, a book that was never written. A book that was seen, and finally..a book that was never read. "I can face a 400 pound linebacker, but get the crap scared out of me by a book!" "Do not read this book aloud, for whomever does, will suffer a fate worse than death."
Alexandria just moved here from the cold less strange state of Michigan. She hates living here, and hasn't failed to make that clear. While hating her brother, Matt, she finds it's much easier to scare him away from her presence. She dresses in nothing but steady black, is highly almost overly intilectual, and believes everything creepy to be cool and mean greater purpose than life. She soons find that life does mean more than she wanted. "Well....this is kind of...not cool."
Mariah, a singer from New York City finds that Massachusettes is more than just colder. It's full of scarey, intresting, and shocking things. Being from where she comes from, and her family structure only makes this seem like something fitting to happen to her. Though the book's power is unleashed, who's to say she has the power to protect herself, or the people she's come to learn about and love in "this dilluded and frightening daydream."
Baily is the new local prankster, though only in his mind is it funny. He's come to see that things that are funny, though scarey to others, may cause more pain than laughter. He discovers that besides his monsterous past, and his potential for not having a future, will only make this nightmare more potent to his dilluted sense of humor and laughter. "Laugh while you can, cause you never know what's around the corner."
There's room for originals and cannons are open. Hope you'll come and join.
