"How would you know?" she asked. "How would I?" Well soon she might know more because being a cupid she would be called 'up there' to be given charges. She glanced down at her cupid ring. She had refused to accept it at first. Her sister had been a cupid and she was killed. Her dad had been a cupid and he was cursed! Could anyone blame her for being afraid she would have a similar fate? In the end she had agreed though. If she hadn't Kaelyn would be dead all now.
"How are you so sure about this? The elders, Cupids, Angels of Destiny, don't they all determine our lives? How is that even fair? I'm a cupid and I determine who people fall in love with! The Elders are who uncle Leo always went too for questions on our powers so maybe it is their decision."

Zander let out a small sigh. He didn't think that Keira would take this information easily, so he had expected some opposition. It was the Halliwell family after all, they never took anything without a fight, especially when it involved the Elder's. Sighing lightly, Zander tried to think up something to say. He was never very good at this kind of stuff. He was more of a, plan ahead what you are going to say type of person. But he didn't have fair warning about this conversation, so he couldn't plan ahead.
"I'm not sure. And I know that they have some say in it. Just not complete control," he said. He kept looking her straight in the eyes, trying to make his point. When Keira had mentioned Angel's of Destiny deciding people's fates, a cold shiver ran down Zander's spine. As he kept thinking about what she had said, a faint, golden glow began emitting from Zander's body. He didn't notice it though, because his mind kept racing trying to figure out what to say to her to help out.

Keira almost smiled at the thoughts she was getting from Zander. Almost. Apparently it was well known that the Halliwells weren't too fond of the Elders. Thinking about them she glanced down at her Cupid's ring for a split second before looking up again. At his words Keira rushed to speak so he wouldn't be able to say anything until she got in her own sentences. "That's my point Zander. You're not sure, so why do you think they don't have complete control?" she questioned.
She stopped there, although she could have gone on for hours if she wished. She knew from experience it was hard to answer too many questions at once and if some could be avoided with ease and she didn't like being ignored, and that included her questions and opinions. She had been lost in a crowd of thoughts from them both, and everyone else in the house, when she saw a glow coming from Zander's body. It was gold, like his golden orb.
"Zander," she said, "Turn around and look in the mirror behind you." There was loads of all things in the attic- boxes, trunks, chairs- and the mirror was one of them.

Zander was looking down towards the ground in front of him, and opened his mouth to respond to Keira's comment. But when he was about to speak, he brought his gaze up to her, and noticed the expression on her face. It kind of seemed like she was in awe while looking at him. And only seconds later, she spoke, telling him to turn around and look at the mirror. He felt his heartbeat jump, as he hoped that nothing too bad was happening to him. But in the world of magic, anything could happen.
Slowly turning around, Zander closed his eyes. Once he knew that he was facing the mirror, he slowly blinked his eyes open and felt his jaw drop wide open. All around him was a glowing golden aura. How could this happen? It has never happened before, was it a new power? But it couldn't be a power in itself, because a golden aura didn't do anything without something more to it. Turning back to Keira, he had a look of wonder and question on his face. "But... what?"

Keira almost smiled in amusement at the way he closed his eyes before looking in the mirror. Almost. It came out as a weak faint of a smile though. She could tell from his confused thoughts he had no more of an idea of what was happening to him that she did. She felt as if she'd put on a special glasses that revealed evil. She had used the spell once from the Book of Shadows to reveal Kaelyn's evil boyfriend, because like Kaelyn he could have switched his appearance in the blink of an eye. The aura seemed familiar to the black aura she had seen around certain demons in the underworld while she'd had on the glasses...well except this one was golden.
She was slightly taken aback when Zander turned to her and finished his thoughts with words. He had already gotten instinctive that she could hear his thoughts and didn't need to say it completely out loud or in her mind it would be repitition, because she would already know. She wished Kaelyn could do the same instead of acting as if Keira was purposefully 'invading her privacy'. She pulled herself out of her own thoughts and focused on Zander's question.
"Well golden magic is kind of...an Angel of Destiny color isn't it?" she asked. "Just like I'm never a specific color." It was true. Normally a cupids ring was red, or gold or whatever, but her's was multicolored. Her heart blinking was also a different color of heart lingering before she was completely gone. "You came here trying to find out about that side of you," she went on. She brushed her hand over her recently blonde hair thoughtfully. "So my best guess is that this has something to do with your Destiny side."
