The attic of the Halliwell manor burst into a bright white strobe of light, and once it was gone, Zander appeared right in front of the Book of Shadow's. He had recently figured out that with his new set of magic, came a new way to get around. But this one was even more noticable than the last one that he had. Geesh, he could never sneak anywhere because everytime he magicked himself inside, there was always a bright light that would give him away. But he couldn't complain too much, he had been gifted with so many amazing powers, though they could be a burden, actually they seemed to be that way alot.
Since the Halliwell's had helped him out finding out about his Angel of Destiny half, he had become quite close to them. Moreso Keira and Kaelyn than any others, but that was only because they were around his age, and he met them first. He hadn't quite gotten to know Phoebe, Piper, or Paige as well, but he knew them well enough. He felt comfortable enough to come into their house often now, and look through the book to help him with his own destiny. Although he never really found out too much information about himself. Angel's of Destiny seemed to have very little coverage in the book, they were a very mysterious being, that not very many people saw very often.
Flipping through the pages of the book, Zander let out a small sigh. He wasn't finding anything useful. He honestly had no idea of the power's that he held. He had never been able to figure them out. Sometimes when he touched people, he saw flashes of the future, but that's all he could ever do, and not even on command. It was a lot like how Phoebe always described her premonitions. He needed to figure out how to control his powers, and find out the extent of them. He didn't figure that he would have all that many or that strong since he was only half Angel of Destiny, but it was still a possibility. Anything was possible when magic was involved.

Keira was in her new room in hers and Kaelyn's apartment, skimming through a book. She was talking to Kaelyn again, thankfully. That was the last time she was going to bring up Selene into one of their conversations. All it ever caused was one of the rare arguments between them. They were best friends, and had grown up together as roommates as all of them couldn't have individual rooms, so they hardly ever fought. It was more Linda she would get into arguments with, never Kaelyn or Lilly.
Keira's mind left what she was reading, and wondered off to her new Power. Only Kaelyn knew- and possibly, hopefully not, Courtney. In normal occasions she would have told her mother, but she hadn't talked to Phoebe in a bit over a week except in her office once to retrieve her diary. She had even died her hair blonde to show how little she wanted to be like her mom. Felicity...well the last time Keira had seen her was in the Cemetery, grieving over Lilly. It's not as if she was about to say 'Hey Felicity, I got a new power and guess what? It's the one that killed aunt Prue!'
Keira longed to look up more on her power but she was afraid to. Afraid of how powerful Shax had been, and that she might become that powerful. She didn't want to be powerful. She wanted to be able to defend herself against demons like Courtney, yes but all she needed for that was a forcefield...which she had but always messed up at the wrong moments. All being powerful meant for Halliwells was demons coming after you for your powers. Before when she had only darkness balls that could be used as a defensive power, they only came after her for her vulnerability to evil. Now they would have another reason because knowing Courtney she wasn't going to keep it quiet.
Keira set down the book and got off of her bed, and heart blinked into the attic of the Manor. She hoped it was empty but looking up it wasn't. She had heart blinked right behind a boy, that her and Kaelyn were friends with. Although he had seen a lot of the Halliwells by now. "Hey Zander," she said, to get his attention as he was looking through the Book of Shadows. He probably wouldn't expect her hair, and she hoped she didn't get angry in their talking because if she did, the slightest touch of defense or anger she felt cause wind of varying strengths...right now a light wind.

As Zander silently flipped through the pages of the book, he wondered to himself how many times he had gone completely through this book. And even though he had spent many hours looking through his book over and over, it seemed that there was always something that he didn't remember from before in it. Maybe it was impossible to retain all the knowledge of the book. The sister's had been working with it for well over eight years now, and they still seemed to come to it all the time when they needed some magical assistance.
As a silent tear began forming in Zander's eye, he stopped flipping the pages. No, he had not found anything useful; and that was mainly the reason he had stopped. Throughout endless searches of the book, he had hardly found anything that was of use to him. Why couldn't there just be a page all about what he needed? A page about him. It would make his life so much easier, it would make everything make so much more sense. He was so tired of not knowing. Being attacked all the time from the people who had found out what he was, it was something really rare. And of course every demon would want the powers of an Angel of Destiny, they could basically rule the world if they got the right power. But who knew if Zander even had any Angel of Destiny powers? He sure didn't. The glimpses of people's future could have been anything, it didn't have to be their destiny.
As Keira's voice sounded behind him, he jumped slightly. He had never been able to control being surprised very well. It just always got to him, no matter how much he tried to control it, he couldn't help it. He turned around, forcing a small smile onto his face. "Hey Keira," he responded, forcing himself to keep the smile on his face. His life had just seemed so depressing lately, and he couldn't handle that. Everything had seemed so much easier before he found out about this half of his life. Maybe he should have never found out. Maybe he could get that side of him stripped. The sister's could probably do that for him. But that could mean he wouldn't be a witch anymore either, and he didn't know if he wanted that.

Keira gave him a feeble smile. Something told her neither of them were having such a good time at the moment. "What were you looking at?" she asked, walking up to the book. Zander was one of the very few people out of their family who was allowed to look at the book alone, and even then her mom and aunts were a bit watchful about it. Demons had gone over possession, murdering, turning people evil to get at their book and much more- to much too name.
As she heard his thoughts in her head she tried to block it out but was unsuccessful she wished she could control it. Well there was a good part about it- she would always know what a demon is going to do next to attack her, so she could avoid it more easily. "You're making me confused..." she said unexpectedly. His thoughts were confusing her. She couldn't tell them apart from her own anymore. At least she wasn't hearing the thoughts of anyone else in the house...yet.

From the few moments that the two had been facing each other, it was already obvious that they were having the same type of day; bad. When she asked about the book, Zander just shrugged, turning back to the page that he had stopped on. It was useless really, but taking a closer look, he realized just what page it had stopped on. It was the page about Balthazoar[[Sorry if I spelled it wrong.]]. The page was a lot different than all the others in the book, because Phoebe had modified it, putting pictures of her and Cole everywhere, and writing all about him. She had claimed that it was so that others would know his tricks if they needed to take him down. But the sisters had known that it was because she really loved him, no matter what.
This page didn't mean too much to Zander, but he had heard of the situation Keira was going through with her mom and future siblings right now, and felt that this page might make her day even worse. Quickly flipping it, Zander shrugged once more. "Nothing really," he said. "Just trying to find out some helpful information." Of which he was having absolutely no luck, which is why his day had been so bad so far. He still just wasn't able to do anything. He knew nothing about himself.
Letting out a sigh, Zander cocked his head to the side. "I'm sorry?" He said, phrasing it as a question because there was really nothing that he could do about it. There would always be thoughts running through people's heads, and there was nothing that they could do about that. He did feel bad that Keira had to hear all of their thoughts, but he knew that people couldn't just stop thinking. She would have to learn to turn that power off or it could drive her crazy in crowds of people.

((OOC: read the first sentence of your post...annoying censored words))
When the page with Belthazor was visible, Keira felt anger surge up in her. Just Breathe...and calm down, she told herself, but she still felt her anger brimming. Especially at the pictures of him and her mother. Keira was relieved when he quickly flipped the page. If he hadn't he might have found himself unconscious on the opposite side of the room...not on purpose of-course.
"That's why you're having such a lousy day then..." It wasn't a question, she didn't even expect him to reply to it. It was simply a fact she had felt like saying out loud. She almost laughed when he posed the apology as a question. Things like that always struck her as amusing, she wasn't sure why, it just did. "Telepathic...not as easy as it seems."

After flipping the pages of the book, Zander quickly looked up to Keira to see her reaction. He could immediately tell that just seeing the page was making her extremely angry, and for a second, he almost thought that it got a little windy in the room, but it had to just be his imagination, because the window was not even open; there was no possible way that there was a wind blowing in the room.
At her comment about the reason he was having such a bad day, Zander's eyebrow lifted slightly. He didn't exactly know what she meant, but he wasn't even going to say anything about it, it wasn't worth it. On a day when he felt somewhat more normal, he may have pursued it, but he just dropped it now. He probably should have known what she was talking about, but he just couldn't figure it out right now. "I wouldn't think so," he said, smiling. He knew how hard learning to control a power could be. He still didn't have his in tap.

((Noah from Hallows and Horcruxed? Wrong site Logan. )) Keira was about to reply when suddenly the pages of the Book of Shadows began flipping. She didn't know if it was her great grams, her grandmother, aunt Prue, her dad, Linda, Lilly or even herself. All she cared was where it would stop at. Her eyes were focused on the book, as the page fluttered between a demon they had vanquished a while back...and Shax. She already knew with a growing anxiousness that it was going to be Shax, as it the pages stopped flipping. She groaned. "You have got to be kidding me..." How, how could it land on the very thing she had tried to avoid, heart blinked it to see and was thankfullyy distracted from by Zander. But no. She just had to read up on it. She wanted to, badly, but at the same time she didn't want to- she was afraid of what it would say.

[[Oops. Hehe. Fixed it. How do you know about Hallows and Horcruxes?]]
Zander had been waiting for Keira to reply to him, and when she didn't, he looked up to her, to see why she hadn't yet. He noticed how she was looking towards the book, and so naturally his gaze was drawn to it as well. Curiousity was a huge weakness of his, it seemed to be a human flaw. Everyone was curious by nature, and sometimes it just got the best of them. He tried hard not to succumb to curiousity and the other flaws of human nature, but sometimes he just couldn't help but cave in.
As his gaze turned down to the book, he noticed the pages flipping on their own. He had heard many stories of how the book did that, with a little help from above so that it could help them out in sticky situations. He had never actually experienced it himself though, probably because all of the people that helped out the Halliwell's didn't even know Zander when they were alive, and so they didn't feel the need to help out someone that they didn't even know. It was understandable, although sometimes he just wished that the book would flip to a page that would help him out. But the page that it landed on seemed to have nothing to do with his predicament, and by Keira's reaction, he figured that it applied to her.
As he looked back up to her, he noticed the expression on her face, and knew that there had to be something special about this page. He tried to skim it quickly, but he found nothing of importance. He had been one of the main demons for the Source, and very powerful, but he didn't seem to find out anything else of importance. He didn't really see any markings on the page like had been left on some of the other pages by the sisters. This page seemed completely untouched except the basic information that had been written on the normal page when it was first written. He wondered what was so special about this demon, Zander had never even heard of him.
[[If you wanted the page to have extra markings on it, I apologize and I will modify my post as requested. ;D]]

((From the link on Hogwarts Regenerated I went there and saw the Hogwarts Regenerated advertised there. Really advanced RPers on that site, I was impressed by it.))
Keira stared at the book for a few moments, knowing that again her actions probably made no sense to Zander. With a slight feeling of dread she read what the book had to say on Shax. Seeing the spell to vanquish it she thought it over in her head. Evil wind that blows, that which forms below. No longer may you dwell. Death takes you with this spell. Did that mean her power was evil? Then again, as Kaelyn had said, no power was evil, it depended upon the person that used it.
Didn't mean she should like it though. It was still the power of one of the Source's most powerful demons before it was vanquished, that had the power. The power that killed Prue Halliwell. She sighed. She had to accept it though, she couldn't ignore it if anger was what cause the power to act up. If she did not try to get control of it she would be too dangerous to be around. Maybe she was already to dangerous to be around, she could accidentally kill someone if she lost control of it. "Did I tell you I have a new power?" she said, a little too casually than she should have.

[[Oh yeah. I have two characters on there, lol. Minimum fifteen sentence posting limit. Hehe.]]
Zander continued to glance over the page, trying to find anything significant to either his situation, or anything he thought may be applicable to Keira, but he saw nothing. It just seemed like another random, powerful demon. Nothing too special. But at Keira's question, Zander quickly brought his gaze back up to her, and shook his head, somewhat in awe. She had gotten a new power? That was so cool. Before he had learned about this entire other side of his life, he had always wished for more powers. But now that this had come about, he kind of wished that it hadn't.
"A new power? That is awesome, Keira," he said, forcing a smile on to his face. He was truly happy for her, but it was just hard for him to smile at a moment like this. He had just been so depressed lately and not being able to find out anymore information about himself put him in an awfully bad mood. But he was trying his best to be happy for Keira. Although she seemed to be having a pretty bad day too, she didn't seem very excited about having a new power.

((I can make long posts but if the person before me doesn't leave much to reply to. Plus didn't like that with the canons if its taken and someone else replies with a better appy they stop the other person from playing it and let a new person take it over. I hate that rule so yea...no offense to the admins of that site. ))
"No not really," she said, slowly as she was thinking hard as she answered. "It was the one that killed my aunt." For his benefit, as not all magical beings had heard a personal report on exactly how Prue had died she explained further. "Wind Manipulation." She had said it with a tone of voice that said loud and clear that she didn't like it, and hated the Elders for granting her with that power. What were they playing at? As if it weren't enough that it was the power that killed her aunt, it was also pretty powerful.
"It's powerful...and I don't want that kind of power." She wasn't sure if Zander wanted to be powerful, but she knew she didn't. Quite the opposite. She voice more of her earlier thoughts. "As if being vulnerable to evil wasn't enough for them to take advantage of, now demons will have another reason." Demons loved turning Keira evil. Her evil self was fun and useful. Now they would come after her for her powers, or because they wanted her dead thinking her too much of a threat.

[[Yeah I know what you mean. It is really hard to reply to a short post with a long one. Yeah I dunno about that rule, but on a site like that, I don't apply for canon's anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much, lol.]]
Power was always something that had intrigued Zander beyond belief. Although he had been blessed with a special gift of Thought Projection, he had always dreamed of being able to be more powerful. He never wanted to have to worry about someone being more powerful than him. He wanted power, not the same way that evil wanted to take it from others, he just wanted it to come to him. He wanted to become more powerful. But then when it finally came to him, he hated it. He hates the fact that he doesn't understand an entire half of his life. Demons are attacking him more than ever, and he can't even figure out how to work the powers that he is not even sure if he has.
Wind Manipulation. What a cool power. Normally that would be something that would be celebrated, but not in the case of the Halliwell's. No, this very power killed one of the original Charmed One's, Prue. Sighing, Zander dropped his gaze to the ground, not exactly sure what to say. "I'm sorry Keira," was all that he managed to get out so far. He seemed to be having a hard time gathering words. "But everything happens for a reason. This family knows that more than anything. The Elder's granted you this power, and there is a reason for it. There is a reason for this." He knew that the Halliwell family wasn't necessarily one to follow the Elder's, but they did have a point every now and then, and even they had to accept that.

((Oh okay I was browsing through the some rules and I saw it. Why don't you take canons on a site like that?))
Keira thought over what he said. Everything happens for a reason... The amount of times her mom and aunt told her that. So what was the reason for Lilly dying? And her dad being taken away from them? Why had they been losing innocents recently? She failed completely to see all of those reasons. "Another thing popular with this family is that the Elders aren't always right," she responded, keeping her eyes all the while on the page dedicated to Shax. Okay so the Elders were right sometimes and had good reasons, but what was the reason they gave her Wind Manipulation?
"What was that reason then?" she added. "Make demons come after me? They'd love to kill me...or turn me evil, that would be even better for them. Two of Phoebe Halliwell's daughters on their side and both has elemental powers. Then evil really will get the upper hand."

[[Well, because I am not as good as the people that get them on those kind of high-level sites, lol. And I am not so good at playing canon's, because I like to have freedom with characters, and you don't have as much when you take a well known canon.]]
The Elder's did not necessarily have a say in everything that happened in the magical world. Just because they were one of the highest powers does not mean that every single thing went through them, because it was impossible. And Keira needed to understand that. He wasn't saying that the Elder's had a reason for everything, because the Elder's may not have a say in everything. Yes, they would've had a say in Keira getting her power, but they cannot always control the time that the power comes to you. It comes when you are ready, they just direct it to the right person.
"You have to understand, Keira, the Elder's don't determine everything all the time. The power, yes they would've had a say in it, but not everything is checked by through them. And you also know that the reason is left up to you to be found. You are the only one that will be able to find the reason for you receiving this gift," he said, looking at her with very sincere eyes. He wanted to help her through this the best that he possibly could, but she needed to understand some key facts. Or at least needed a reminder of them.
