Keira sighed, and moving a few steps away from her box half-leaned, half-sat against the arm of the chair she had previously been sitting on. They had been through this loads of times, and it was the one person they disagreed on. Of-course they always had different opinions but they had never disagreed. If only she'd been there when Selene tried to kill Kaelyn.
It wasn't that Keira refused to take up for her cousin and believed someone she barely knew, it was just she thought that Selene deserved a chance. Keira had refused to believe Carmel was good at first, too. "How did she nearly try to kill you?" she asked, although it was about the hundredth time. "I just can't believe that..."

"Keira how may times do we have to go through this?" She asked glancing at her. "The whole atheme, fire throwing..... trying to kill me for my power might have something to do with it."She said with a slight hint of sarcasm. Kaelyn's powers had been playing up at the time so it wasn't like she could put up much of a fight back. If it hadn't been for her Aunt Piper then Selene probably would have killed her.

Keira rolled her eyes. "Oh come on, Carmel was a demon and the youngest daughter of the Source of all evil," she said, "she must've had her bad moods too..."

Kaelyn rolled her eyes. "How can you even defend her!" She shook her head and picked up the box that she had been going through. "Bad mood... Like thats an excuse." She said before going back into her room. She kicked the door shut with the back of her foot behind her.

Keira watch her cousin get up and leave, kicking the door shut behind her. Maybe she had gone too far. It was the thought of that only that stifled her longing to project every word she was thinking to Kaelyn then. If she did though Kaelyn would have a hard time forgiving her, and not talking to her mom was enough as it is.
