Keira teleported with a small flash of red light into the apartment her and Kaelyn were sharing with a box of things in her hand. It was only half-settled with boxes of their stuff still lying around, waiting to be unpacked as they couldn't use magic to help that....it would be personal gain. She walked to the left where there was a door leading to what would be her room. It was huge, and as amazing as they had hoped and dreamed of.
She left the door ajar as she entered the room and put the box down on her bed -which being a room for only one person was bigger than her old bed- and opened it up. She took out a diary, that was hers, set it down on her dresser, and dug into the box for something else. She looked at the object in her hand it clearly wasn't hers. It was a book, of songs. Linda's book. She felt as if a strong breeze had knocked all the air out of her. Linda never sang as Kaelyn did but she did love to write songs...Keira had been the one to walk in on it alot.

Kaelyn orbed in with the last of her boxes, It was weird moving out of the manor. She was glad that she was moving out, she might actually get some peace and quiet while she studied. She went into the other bedroom that was to be her's, she had it all to herself, and this was the first time she actually had a room to herself so she was pretty excited. She moved one of the boxes of her bed that held all her personal things as well as some things that belonged to Linda. just to remind her of her... not that Linda was an easy person to forget, she was Kaelyn's twin sister and best friend in the whole wide world. Keira had taken the place of her best friend without replacing Linda.
She looked though the box, she couldn't find the song book that was full of the songs that both her and Linda had wrote... so Kaelyn had added some more in over the years as she knew that Linda wouldn't have wanted her to give up music. Linda had always prefered to write songs... Kaelyn sang them. "No no no!" She panicked as she searched though the box. She couldn't have lost that book...

Keira distantly heard Kaelyn's voice sounding panicky and rushed into the room, the book still in her hand. "Looking for this?" she asked, holding up the book and giving her a weak smile. "It got into my box by accident..." she said quietly, putting it down on Kaelyn's bed. Her eyes glazed over as she caught sight of Linda's signature. She turned around and walked out of the room quickly so Kaelyn wouldn't see. Keira and Lilly had been best friends, and Kaelyn and Linda had been best friends.
That was what it had always been like. Still, the four of them had always had an unbreakable friendship despite being in two groups. Linda and Kaelyn had been over-protective of Lilly, who had pretty much lived in their room apart from sleeping in her own room, and Keira who had shared a room with Linda and Kaelyn since she was born. They had been older- it was just natural. She sat down onto the couch beside another box and impatiently wiped the tears from her eyes.

Kaelyn had been rummaging around in the bottom of the box when she heard Keira's voice. Her head snapped up when she asked, if that was what she was looking for. "Yea..." She picked the book up from her bed. To some people it was just a book, but to Kaelyn it was so much more than that. What it contained was really precious to her, one of the last things that really reminded her of Linda. She glanced at her guitar that was laying next to her bed. Her guitar had been one of the first things that she un packed and back at the Halliwell manor, it had been one of the first things to pack.
When she looked back up again Keira had already left. "Hey..." She put the song book back down on her bed before going after her. She sat down on one of the closed boxes near her cousin. Kaelyn was the perfect shoulder to cry on.... she was a good listener.

Keira looked up with slightly red eyes as Kaelyn came into the room. "I'm sorry..." She was supposed to be happy- she was happy, she was finally free. Despite that she couldn't help feeling sad. The apartment held no memories of her sister or Linda....but it wasn't as if she could keep missing them for every little thing....she had to move on. Really move on, not just pretend to. "I just miss them so much...too much," she said quietly, pulling her knees up and resting her chin on it.

"I know... me too." It was weird moving into a apartment without Linda, It had always been their plan to do that and here Kaelyn was moving into her dream apartment with Keira. She should be happy but she couldn't help but somewhat upset.

"Losing a sister really sucks..." she muttered. So that was obvious, but she couldn't help saying it. "Aunt Piper and my mom moved on though....I never appreciated how hard that must have been for them to lose aunt Prue until now," she sighed. Looking around the apartment she smiled slightly. "We should be happy....we're free. No having to sneak out. No demons," Well until demons found out it was possible that a Halliwell child could be alone in her apartment with only passive powers. With the exception of her cupid ring, not that cupid abilities would have any effect on a demon...

"It's never going to be easy." She hated it when everyone said that everything happened for a reason because no one could give a reason why Linda and Lilly had to die. Or why her father had to die. They didn't deserve it.

"I know..." She said. "But they'd want us to be happy right now...right?" Lilly and Linda wouldn't want Keira and Kaelyn to be lingering over their deaths, they'd want them to have fun.

"They wouldn't want us to be sad." She said weakly. "They would want us to be happy." Kaelyn really wanted to talk to her sister but they couldn't summon her yet. Linda was the reason why she had carried on writing and singing songs, Linda wouldn't have wanted her to quit.

"Exactly my point..." She sighed heavily. "How about we finish unpacking?" she suggested, getting up and headed over to the nearest box. She opened up and laughed when she saw the first item. It had been a teddy that her dad had bought for her when she turned one year old. She lifted it out of the box. She knew it was childish, but it was her first memory of her dad and she didn't want to lose it...ever. She smiled gently, and hugged it to her.

"I remember that teddy." Kaelyn said with a smile. "Linda would steal it off you and make you chase her around the house with it." Course Linda would always cheat and orb somewhere. She stood up, moving one of the boxes closer to her, she liked getting her own place with Keira but she hated all the packing and un-packing, It was a real pain.

Keira smiled at the memory. She could tell what Kaelyn was thinking...quite literally. "I wish we could use magic," she sighed. It would come back and bite them in the butt though. It had happened to Keira's mom.

"Yea... why did our mom's have to teach us about personal gain." She was with a smile. Though using magic would be a hell of a lot easier.

"It's what separates us from evil," she said, mocking her mother's words. It was hard though..."Honestly, being evil has perks. I'd chose good over evil any day but pretending it's not tempting would be like pretending it's not there," she said, unknowningly repeating her aunt Prue's words.
((OOC:: I think it was Prue that said that))
